About the opportunity

We're looking for an experienced senior copywriter to join the N26 Creative Studio in Berlin. In this role, you will help drive the N26 creative vision and bring the N26 voice to life through powerful ideas, compelling storytelling and impactful, results-driven copywriting. In addition, you will also collaborate closely with our lifecycle team to create best-in-class ad copy and campaigns for our CRM channels like email and in-app marketing.

In this role, you will:
  • Excel in the craft of copywriting. You are a versatile creative thinker and highly capable copywriter in both long-form content and advertising copy.
  • Work on a range of other creative and copywriting briefs within the Creative Studio — from brand campaigns to product launches, across social, paid digital media, and traditional media channels.
  • Be the N26 copy team''s expert in CRM copywriting, working closely with our lifecycle team to ideate and produce campaigns and copy for all our CRM channels.
  • Work hand-in-hand with designers, other copywriters, and motion designers in the Creative Studio, along with our stakeholders across the business.
  • Ensure creative quality control from start to finish, including the creative work coming from external agencies.
  • Collaborate with our lifecycle team on developing guidelines, best practices, and proactive initiatives with positive business impact.
  • Help shape and evolve the N26 voice and tone as we continue to grow as a brand.
What you need to be successful:

Background:

  • Recognized qualification within the field of copywriting.
  • At least 5 years of English copywriting experience, including experience in writing for CRM channels.
  • A portfolio of creative work that demonstrates your skills.

Skills:

  • Native-level written and verbal English language skills.
  • Ability and proven track record of functional and impactful copy across all platforms (TVC, OOH, Social, Content, CRM, Performance).
  • Meticulous writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to understand performance metrics and optimize copy based on testing and learnings.
  • Willingness to take ownership of projects with a can-do attitude.
  • Comfortable in a fast moving, fluid environment.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities, and balance short term needs with long term strategic initiatives, while remaining focused and calm.
  • Experience working with global tech brands and international creative teams is ideal.
